For the first time, Scott & White Health Plan is offering Supplemental Income Policies to the employees of Scott & White. You will have the option of three different income policies:

Focus on Wellness in 2008!

Scott & White realizes that not only do we want to improve the health of our patients, we also want to improve the health of our staff and their families. That's why we are focusing on your health in 2008. Some tools being offered to Scott & White employees and their families are:

Health Risk Appraisal (HRA) - You and your spouse will be asked to take the HRA. It will give you a current assessment of your overall health and identify potential risks that could negatively impact your future physical and mental well-being. Those SWEMP members who complete the HRA before January 1, 2008 will be given a "wellness credit" which will reduce your regular medical plan deduction.

Basic HMO Plan - For 2008, the Basic HMO Plan will cover all preventive care 100%. This includes preventive doctor visits and all standard labs and x-rays. There will be no copays for these.

Tobacco Surcharge - The surcharge for tobacco use will be raised to $40 per month in 2008. Time to quit?
