HMO Plan

The Scott & White Health Plan offers large employers an excellent alternative to traditional insurance plans. With our Health Maintenance Organization (HMO), members have direct access to quality care through a network of physicians and hospitals.

As an HMO, we pay and arrange for medical care within the Plan's network. By choosing a Primary Care Physician within the network, members can be sure of gaining a valuable relationship with a physician who will get to know their personal medical history. With this plan, members pay a monthly premium and only pay minimal copayments at the time of service. The HMO has no deductibles, no coinsurance, comprehensive coverage and no claim forms when using plan providers.

In addition to the HMO plan, employers also have the opportunity to increase their benefits package by adding one or more of the following options:

• Prescription Drug Rider
• Dental Insurance
• Eyewear Rider
• Group Term Life Insurance
