My HSA

Scott & White Health Plan has teamed with HealthEquity, Inc. to offer members a Health Savings Account (HSA).

An HSA offers members a tax-advantaged account to pay qualified medical expenses. Two components are required for an HSA:

A qualified high deductible health plan (HDHP) provided by Scott & White Health Plan
An HSA provided by HealthEquity.

HealthEquity's HSA comes with consumer-empowering client advisory service tools that guide clients in making wise health care decisions. The health and cost management tools include:

FDIC Insured Account
- You will have your own individual account. The money in this account is yours and will continue to be yours even if you leave your current employer.
HSA Card
- HealthEquity offers an HSA Visa® card that can be used directly at the point of service or members can take advantage of online payment capabilities.
Personal Desktop
- Members have a personalized webpage to manage their account history, balances, and possible savings alternatives.
Monthly Statements
- Members will receive monthly statements and access to real time account balances, claims history, and transaction activity via the website.
Health and Equity Advisors
- Health and Equity advisors are available to answer any question 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Ongoing Education
- You will have access to ongoing information about health care accounts and how to optimize the use of your account. This information will be gathered from success stories and experiences of other members. HealthEquity will publish this information for your use.
Self Diagnostics Tool
- You will have access to a top of the line, online self diagnostic tool that includes a medical library, risk assessment tests, interactive media, preventive care information, and more.
24-hour Nurse Line
- A team of licensed nurses employ cutting edge technology and health decision support platforms to enable you to make better health care decisions 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Rx Research
- This tool will help you research your prescription drugs and can help you find lower cost or generic alternatives. By using this tool, you and your physician can select medications with an understanding of both the medical and financial impact of your choices.
Pricing Tools
- HealthEquity's pricing tools will help you compare the costs of medical procedures and empower you to know what to expect during the billing process.
