Welcome New Medical Students

Congratulations on being accepted to the medical program of Texas A&M University System Health Science Center College of Medicine. As part of your requirement for medical school, each student must carry medical health insurance. We are pleased to present you with an affordable option through the Insurance Company of Scott & White (ICSW). Our A&M Medical Student Policy was designed especially for you. By enrolling in this plan, you will receive the following benefits:

Physician office visit copay of $25
Policy year deductible of $250 for an individual and $750 for the family
Policy year benefit of $500 for preventive care (deductible does not apply)
No medical underwriting - automatic acceptance
Competitive monthly premium
Direct access to the ICSW participating providers, including all Scott & White clinics.

The A&M Medical Student Policy is a blanket accident and sickness insurance policy where the amount payable for benefits is subject to maximum allowable charges. It is important that you understand how your plan works. Please review all information carefully.
