Scott & White Health Plan considers it an honor to be offered to Texas' school district employees through TRS-ActiveCare.

What's new for the 2008-2009 plan year?

We are pleased to announce several additions to our ever growing network. TRS members can now utilize

Hillcrest Baptist Hospital in Waco
Grimes St. Joseph Hospital in Navasota
King's Daughters Hospital in Temple

We've also added, or will be adding this year, numerous clinic and pharmacy locations.

King's Daughters Clinic - as of March 2008
S&W Salado Clinic - scheduled to open September 2008
SWHP Canyon Creek Pharmacy, Temple - open April 2008
SWHP Salado Pharmacy, Salado - scheduled to open September 2008

There are also numerous expansion and additions proposed in 2008 for Williamson, Travis and Bastrop counties.

Although the Scott & White Health Plan provides coverage for all types of medical and hospital services, we are not a traditional health insurance plan. As a Health Maintenance Organization, (HMO), we pay and arrange for your medical care within the Scott & White Health Plan Network. Medical, surgical, hospital and preventive services, such as routine check-ups, well baby care and immunizations are included. With our plan, no third party comes between you and the professionals who protect and maintain your health. Best of all, your care is provided by one of the most highly respected health systems in the nation. Anytime you require hospitalization, routine or specialty care, it is available at Scott & White or facilities that are associated with our Health Plan.
