Scott & White Health Plan is a state-certified Health Maintenance Organization (HMO). Scott & White Health Plan began offering services in Temple, Killeen, and Belton in 1982 and was the first HMO in Central Texas. The Health Plan now provides medical care in 34 counties in Central Texas. Medical care is provided through Scott & White Hospital & Clinic in Temple, Scott & White Regional Clinics, and independent contracted physicians and health care facilities throughout the service area.
