Pharmacy & Urgent Care Clinic Opens in Belton
Scott & White Urgent Care Clinic and Pharmacy are now open and serving patients. The clinic offers walk-in care service. It also provides on-site x-ray and laboratory services. Emergency medicine physician, Sophia A. Koen, M.D., will serve as the medical director.
Our medical providers serve patients who have urgent, but not life-threatening, problems. Services include:
- On-site blood draws
- X-rays
- Casting/splinting
- Laboratory
- Pharmaceuticals
- Modern and state-of-the-art medical equipment
The urgent care clinic is not appropriate for people who need emergency treatment. Patients suffering from heart problems, possible stroke, shortness of breath or severe illness should go to the emergency room.
The 4,000-square foot clinic has the additional benefit of being connected to a Scott & White Pharmacy. Mr. Dennis Roy is the head pharmacist. He is a graduate of the College of Pharmacy, University of Texas at Austin, and brings 43 years of experience to the position.
