Scott & White Health Plan Announces the New My SWHP iPhone App
Scott & White Health Plan (SWHP) is making it easier for its customers to find a doctor or medical office on the fly with its new iPhone app. This innovative app - My SWHP - helps our members quickly and easily locate any provider or facility, including urgent care facilities, in the SWHP network from their iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. The free app uses your location to locate providers and access additional information. All in real-time.
"We're very excited about our new iPhone app," said Allan Einboden, Chief Executive Officer of SWHP. "This app marks just one of many upcoming initiatives we have in development to provide our members with useful information at their fingertips. Our goal is to be there for our customers when they need us, and this app extends that reach further than ever before."
"We're building a comprehensive mobile engagement strategy that will make it easier for our current members - and potential members - to get the information they need, when they need it," added David McGrew, Director of Product Development for SWHP.
The new Scott & White Health Plan My SWHP app can be downloaded from the App Store. It is free, however, rates from your wireless service provider may apply. My SWHP is the first of several technological innovations SWHP will launch in the coming year.
