Scott & White is now an Open Access HMO. A member can go to any network provider without a referral. Members may choose a network primary care physician (PCP) if they would like to designate one, but PCPs are no longer required by the Scott & White Health Plan.
You may select a primary care physician (PCP) for yourself and any dependents by using the reference number listed for your doctor in the Scott & White Health Plan online provider directory. You may also select your PCP using a Supplemental Information Form for Employees (pdf, 368kb), which should be sent to Scott & White Health Plan.
